Abstract
The article presents a calculated and experimental assessment of the effective degree of filling of the rubber matrix from SKI-3 with high-density polyethylene, which is distributed in the rubber in the form of rigid particles. Based on the theory of reinforcement and the results of sol-gel analysis, it is shown that the effective degree of filling is significantly higher than the actual degree of filling of the rubber with polyethylene. An explanation for this result is given. Expressions for the elastic potential of the composite are obtained based on the elastic potential of the matrix and the degree of filling.
