Abstract

By the example of rubber of grades B-14-1 it is shown the possibility of improving their technological and operational properties by directly replacing the high-viscosity brand of rubber BNKS-18AN with a low-viscosity one BNKS-18AMN. This is possible when adding up to 10 parts by mass of silica to the formulation. While maintaining the elastic-strength properties, it is observed an increase in frost-resistant and adhesive properties of experimental rubber compositions, as well as the resistance to hydrocarbon media on the same level. Presumably, the effect of enhancement when introducing silica into rubbers based on BNKS-18AMN is due to the ordering of the microstructure of rubber, increased flexibility of chains due to sorption of the disordered molecular part of the copolymer on the particles of silicon acid filler.
