Material Review Procedure
The decision as to whether the articles submitted for publication are in conformity with the profile of the journal is made by the editorial board, which is the sole authority in this matter.
If the material is rejected, the editorial board does not provide an explanation or otherwise discuss its decision.
The selection of articles for publication is a three-stage process.
In the initial phase, the submitted material is registered and undergoes a preliminary evaluation to assess its compliance with the formal and qualitative criteria including the profile, concept, and subject matter of the journal, as well as relevance, clarity, and quality. Articles which do not comply with these requirements are rejected.
The editorial board will duly inform the author of this decision.
Subsequently, the article that has been accepted for further consideration is forwarded to anonymous experts in the relevant field for evaluation.
The experts may include both editorial board members and external experts
who evaluate the manuscript in accordance with the following criteria:
• The problem setting being relevant to current scientific issues and practical application.
• The originality, independence, scientific interest and/or discussion potential.
• The reliability and validity of the data and arguments presented
• The level of literary editing of the text.
Based on the above, the article may be accepted for publication, returned to the author for potential revisions and amendments, or rejected.
The author will be informed of the outcome of the review via email.
A decision is typically reached within three to four months from the date of manuscript registration by the editorial office.
At the final stage the article is prepared for publication.
This process involves the participation of the editorial staff, who are responsible for overseeing if comments and suggestions of the reviewers for improvement have been duly met; then the text is edited to align with the editorial standards and requirements of the journal.
It is essential that the editorial revisions are agreed with the authors. The final decision regarding the date of publication of the article is made by the editorial staff as part of the routine work of planning the structure and content of forthcoming issues, including the current one.
